Stencils for Halloween and Other Fall Activities for Adults and their Kids
Stencils are always a winner with your little ones. Besides, there are a lot of wonderful things that you can do with your children when the leaves turn colours. The Autumn is a great time to get together with your pre-schoolers and make some arts and crafts together. Here are a few great ideas for both Mom and Dad and the little ones. Don’t forget Halloween is around the corner.
A Halloween Front Door
There’s nothing that will bring your family together quicker than decorating the front door for Halloween. This can be simple and fun. In fact all you really need to do to get started is find a few paper bags, some scissors and a crayon. Creating scary front door monsters is easy and fun.
An Owl Mask
It’s great when you can make something with your child they can use as a costume at the same time. In fact, if you have any sort of experience you can make an excellent owl headband that can be the start of a Halloween costume for later on in the month.
Fun with Apples
It’s always great when you can think of healthy things that also spark your child’s creativity. Apple stamping is an easy and quick way to get involved with arts and crafts for your toddler or pre-schooler. All you really need are a few apples, hopefully from your backyard garden, and some paint and some kind of paper.
Maybe you don’t have a backyard with apple trees in it. That’s not a problem if your children love to stamp because there’s always something lying around the house that works.
Finally, if you’re looking for something a little more advanced that still has a holiday Halloween theme, why not check out one of our stencils? The Halloween Witch stencils we carry are just the thing to spark the creative side in your toddler.
