This time of year is all about warmth, connection, creativity – and of course, delicious treats and thoughtful gifting. If you’re looking for holiday inspiration, ideas for the family, or something special to add to your celebrations, here are a few fun ideas below.

The holidays are the perfect time to indulge! Here are a few fun and easy desserts to make:

• Festive Peppermint Bark

Layer melted chocolate and white chocolate, swirl, and top with crushed candy canes. Break into pieces – great for gifts, too!

Holiday DIY Ideas for Kids & Adults

Whether you’re crafting solo or bringing the family together, here are fun projects for all ages:

• For Kids
  • DIY Sticker Scenes – use holiday-themed sticker sheets to build winter scenes.
    • Any stickers (not only holiday themed) always go down well with the kids
  • Craft Kits – tie-dye kits, paper jewellery kits, or clay craft kits are great hands-on fun.
  • Painted Christmas Rocks – turn stones into snowmen, penguins, or reindeer with some acrylic paints or paint pens. Paint markers are also suitable.
• For Adults
  • Holiday or other Stencils and/or Transfers – Stencils are perfect for decorating walls, trays, gift bags, or wood boards.
  • Transfer Art on Mugs or Plates – an easy way to make custom gifts. Seal them with a suitable sealant to preserve your artwork.
  • Resin Coasters with Dried Flowers – classy and personal. Follow the instructions on the bottles of Epoxy Resin and Hardener. Also, craft in a well-ventilated area.
  • Decorate a glass dish – Wash and dry the glass properly before decorating it. If you intend to use the plate for edibles on your dining table, stencil and paint the design on the back of the glass dish so that the pretty design will show through to the front of the dish. Don’t forget to use sealant to preserve your artwork. You could use some pretty removable stickers if you like (add suitable glue to the stickers to ensure that they stick properly)
