Sunflower Hair Barrette

This Sunflower Hair Barrette has been crafted by Wanda Shum in a beautiful Sunflower design.  Wanda Shum is a Canadian Artist from British Columbia.  This “durable” barrette is “decorated with Polymer Clay patterned details in a variety of Coral combinations”. Polymer Clay is a type of modelling clay, which can be hardened in an oven. This attractive and fun Barrette is one of a kind. No two barrettes are identical. They have been created using the “millefiori” technique.

Wanda Shum’s artistic creations are all hand-crafted in Canada.

The Millefiori technique uses strips of different shapes and colours of polymer clay shaped into canes. The canes when cut reveal magnificent mosaic colours and patterns and they are then carefully applied and sculpted into colourful barrette hair accessories, exquisite earrings and various other unique, one of a kind “works of art”.
