Canada Day marks the big moment on July 1, 1867, when Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick joined forces to form the Great White North. Back then, it was called Dominion Day. It wasn’t until 1982 that we officially started calling it Canada Day. Now, it’s our favourite excuse for a nationwide party!
