Frilled Turquoise Pendant

This Frilled Turquoise Pendant is a flower with a floral design in turquoise and green tones. The flower is hand crafted by Wanda Shum, a Canadian Artist from British Columbia. Wanda’s Pendants and Earrings and Butterfly Brooches are fashioned beautifully with Polymer Clay, which is a kind of modeling clay, which can be hardened in an oven. It is similar to PVC. The artist can then fashion the clay into a variety of spectacular patterns and shapes, with vivid colours. The flower pendant is modelled and shaped with polymer clay and has a design on both the front and the back thereof.

Each of Wanda’s creations are unique and crafted by hand; therefore, none of them will be identical. They are all crafted in Canada.

Wanda Shum works in polymer clay using a technique called Millefiori. Strips of different shapes and colours of polymer clay are shaped into canes. The canes when cut reveal magnificent colours and patterns and they are then carefully applied and sculpted into exquisite pendants, earrings, brooches, pins and other unique, one of a kind “works of art”.
