LET’S MAKE COOL BRAIDS AND CHARMS!

With your CraftLace Mega Pack, you can make zipper pulls, keychains, lanyards, pencil wraps, backpack charms, and lots more!

You also get a Weave Wheel to help you braid easily.

What You Need

• CraftLace strands
• Weave Wheel
• Key ring or hook (optional)
• Scissors (grown-up help recommended)

Step 1: Pick Your Colours

• Choose 2-4 colours you want to braid.
• Cut them to the same length.

Step 2: Start Your Braid

• Put the ends of your lace strands together.
• Slide them through the hole in the middle of the Weave Wheel.
• Pull the strands halfway so both sides are even.
• Put each strand into a slot on the wheel.
• Line them up with the coloured dots (these are your helpers!).

Step 3: Time to Weave!

• Repeat these steps in a circle:
• Move the bottom-left strand to the top-left slot.
• Move the top-right strand to the bottom-right slot.
• Turn the wheel a little bit to the left (counterclockwise).
• Keep going! The braid will grow longer below the wheel.

Tip: Go slowly at first – Practice Makes Perfect!

Step 4: Finish Your Project!

When your braid is long enough:

• Take all strands out of the wheel.
• Tie a knot at the end to stop it from unravelling.
• Trim the extra lace (parental assistance is suggested for young children).
• Add a key ring or hook to turn it into something awesome!
